Leo -  the consummate 'all rounder' -  was purchased as a show dog and completed his conformation title in 1996. A sound, well moving dog, his ring successes include;

•      In Group and In Show awards /  Royal & Specialty Show Placings
•      Reserve Dog - Border Collie Club of NSW Championship Show

But it was in the obedience rings that he really excelled! Leo gained his Novice & Open Obedience Titles and his Tracking Dog Title in 1996 and is UD Title and Tracking Dog Excellent Title in 1998 which gave him the coveted title of Australian Obedience Champion. As he already had his Show Title, he joined the ranks of the elite few Border Collies in Australia who have obtained  DUAL CHAMPIONSHIP (Obedience & Conformation) at just 5 years old. A very clever dog and therefore a wonderful dog to train but Leo would often give his own version of how to execute a UD trial  or a Track 5. But the results have been well worth the effort.
